Ms. Noxolo Mabuza is a seasoned Development Planning and Transformation Specialist, currently serving as Acting Executive Manager for Strategy, Planning & Transformation at Joburg Market. With over 15 years of experience in integrated Development, Policy, And Program Management, she has steadily advanced through roles in local government and metropolitan institutions to her current leadership position.

Throughout her career, Ms. Mabuza has held strategic leadership roles such as Acting Executive Manager (from April 2024), Senior Manager of Strategy, Planning, and Transformation (since September 2023), and prior positions within the City of Johannesburg’s Integrated Community-Based Planning and Development Planning divisions.

Academically, she holds a Master of Science in Development Planning, along with Postgraduate Diplomas in Monitoring and Evaluation and a Bachelor of Arts degree, all from the University of the Witwatersrand. She also pursued Advanced Managerial training at the University of Cape Town.
