Mr. Indongo Indongo is a highly qualified executive with a proven track record in research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and project management. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in Public Health, a Bachelor of Science degree, and several other professional qualifications.
Over the years, Mr. Indongo has gained extensive experience at management level through his work with various reputable organizations, including the Namibia Training Authority, Millennium Challenge Account, Society for Family Health, Project HOPE Namibia, the Ministry of Health and Social Services, and the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, among others.
His expertise includes policy formulation and implementation, conducting research projects, and overseeing M&E activities across diverse sectors. Notably, Mr. Indongo has worked closely with the Retail and Wholesale sector in Namibia through the Industry Skills Committees of the Namibia Training Authority (NTA), where he plays a key role in:
- Mapping industry skills needs
- Developing qualifications and unit standards
- Formulating and implementing strategies for sector development
Given that the Retail and Wholesale sector is the second-largest employment sector in Namibia, Mr. Indongo has been instrumental in championing the implementation of Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and advocate the assessment and certification processes for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in this sector.
His recent professional interests lie in the education sector, with a strong focus on youth development, innovation, and entrepreneurship. With over 15 years of management-level experience, Mr. Indongo continues to contribute meaningfully to national development initiatives.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Indongo is a seasonal politician and an avid volleyball player.
